Project Description

At Brantley Lake’s Seven Rivers boat ramp, a fishing dock was removed about 6 years ago due to its deteriorated and unsafe condition. In 2024, TGOF secured a donation from Oxy to purchase and install a new low-maintenance fishing dock d attached gangway which are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

To continue enhancing equitable access to Brantley Lake and complement the new fishing pier, New Mexico State Parks has begun designing a new ADA compliant walkway and handicapped only parking area as well as a new shaded picnic area for all people’s rest and relaxation. TGOF has secured another grant in 2025 from Oxy to help NMSP fund this project to completion.
