Beachside cabin tents have been envisioned and routinely requested by park visitors of Sea Rim State Park, either looking for a spot to get out of the sun for the day or to have a unique camping experience on the upper Texas coast. Beach cabin tents on a slightly elevated platform will provide this opportunity. This opportunity will be available to all park users, one cabin tent will be made ADA accessible.
The project will provide a unique recreation opportunity for all outdoor park users. The project will improve the public’s ability to use the park and provide protection from the sun.
